Stock Price Fetching Spreadsheet

Imagine sitting at your desk and being able to check out the prices of your favorite stocks that instance within seconds.  Now you can with no need for expensive internet site memberships that can cost $25 a month.  You do not need to log onto a site you simply can press the “Fetch Stock Prices from the Internet” Button and your prices will be there within a couple of seconds.

All you have to enter into the spreadsheet is the stock symbol of any stock you want to track.  You can also include the price your purchasing price, the original price of the stock, date of purchase, and the amount of the stock you purchased.  When you hit the “Fetch Stock Prices from the Internet” Button the current price of the stock will be retrieved and the total original value of the purchase, total current value of the purchase, the percent change in value, and the total change of value.  At the bottom of the spreadsheet, all the values are summed and you can get an idea of the current performance of your entire portfolio.
